maranGraphics Simplified Computer Guides

May 1993

We can't resist mentioning the extraordinarily useful Canadian series maranGraphics' Simplified Computer Guides. We find the Windows 3.1 guide extremely useful, but we are enchanted by the introduction to computing in Computers Simplified, which taught us several things we never understood. The series includes guides to popular packages like Word, Excel and WordPerfect and is shortly going to be upgraded for new releases as well as intermediate level presentations of MS-DOS 6.0 and Windows 3.1. The books are published by PTR Prentice-Hall (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) and are large format paperbacks; they are priced at $12.95 U.S. and $12.95 to 14.95 Canadian.
